Week #8

Download

First, download the app on your iphone or ipad. Create a new account that is connected to your Creative Cloud account.

Find the Creative Cloud folder on your computer to add your files into your Creative Cloud. then whenever you want to import any file in Aero you can tap on the Creative Cloud icon and have access to your files.

Adding Components:

You can import your files using Adobe Creative Cloud, Files, or from the Camera Roll. I highly recommend using Creative Cloud.

You can add PNG, PSD, ZIP (for animations with image sequences), and GIF files to Aero. I highly recommend using PNG format. Exporting PNG files from Adobe Illustrator gives you the most freedom.

You can also import your PSD files with multiple layers and see your artwork in a whole new way by spacing them out to add depth using Layer Tab. this tab only shows when you import a layered PSD file and then click on it.

Tip

Even if you created your work in Adobe Ps, save PSD with all layers > Import it in Ai > then Export every single layer (shape) in Ai by selecting it > go to File > Export Selection > PNG.

You can still export every single layer as PNG in Ps but it creates an invisible frame around every single shape that is confusing to work when you want to arrange your layer in Aero later.

Adding Animation

To add animations you need to work with the Behavior Tab. Add triggers such as start, touch, and proximity to initiate actions for your assets. Then assign associated behaviors such as animate, spin, and bounce to bring your experiences to life.

you can add custom animations by setting Pathways for your animations.

Hold your shape for 3 seconds then move it to wherever you like. Add Trigger > Start/Tap > choose Action > Path Move. Change options however you like and save the animation

Tip

If you see your animation behaves weird make sure to: in the Path move > Create new animation > click on the Option icon > change Behave as to None.
